Drug Sting Nets At Least 15 Arrests

An undercover investigation by the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, and both Parsons and Decaturville’s Police Departments resulted in at least 14 arrests last week.
The sting, in which undercover operatives bought drugs from unsuspecting dealers over a period of several months, busted several individuals selling “mostly meth,” said 24th Judicial Task Force Officer Rick Inman.
The arrests were made at different times and places, according to Inman.
The arrests may not be over: officials say that some suspects “are still being searched for”.
Among the arrested:
• Michael Williams, age 22, of Parsons, was charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule III drug, with intent to sell, selling meth to an operative working for the Drug Task Force on 9/16/05.
• Jose Moreno, age 18, address unavailable, was charged with possession of a Schedule III drug (ten tablets of dihydrocodeinone) after selling to an undercover agent on 9/22/05, and two counts of possession of marijuana, which he allegedly sold to undercover agents on 8/17/05 and 8/19/05.
• Jason Roach, age and address unavailable, charged with possession of marijuana with intent and possession of a Schedule IV drug (8 tablets of Diazepam), after selling to operatives working for the Task Force on 8/26/05.
• Russell J. Long, age unavailable, of 572 Ky. Ave. in Parsons, allegedly sold _ gram of meth to an undercover agent on 9/13/05, and who also is charged with selling marijuana to such on 8/31. Long was also arrested on a charge of theft of property under $500 after allegedly stealing a knife from the MAPCO service station in Parsons on April 13th.
• Cecelia M. White (Hamm), age 47, was charged with possession of meth with intent to sell or deliver after a Task Force officer purchased meth from her on 10/20/05.
• Bryant W. Hart, age 35, address unavailable, was charged with possession of meth with intent after selling under 1/2 gram to an undercover officer on 8/18/06.
• Tina Lynn Brodie, age 30, address unavailable, charged with two counts of possession of meth with intent to sell or deliver after selling to undercover agents on 9/2 and 9/13/05.
• Wendy Fiscus, of 486 South West St. in Decaturville, was charged with one count of possession of meth with intent to deliver or resell, after an undercover officer purchased it from her on 10/16/05.
• Timothy Fiscus, of 486 South West St. in Decaturville, was charged with one count of possession of meth with intent, after an undercover officer purchased over _ gram from him on 12/21/05.
• Fred V. Mitchell (also known as T.J.), of 902 Kensington Place Apts.in Parsons, was charged with two counts of possession of meth with intent to resell or deliver after selling to undercover agents on 9/13 and 9/21/05. He posted a $10,000 bond on May 18th.
• Mark D. Webster, age unavailable, of Parsons, was charged with one count of possession of marijuana after selling to an undercover agent on 11/03/05. Webster posted a $5000 bond on May 18th.
• Eddie Ray Borron, age unavailable, of 160 Swift Ln. in Decaturville, was charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule III drug (dihydrocodeinone) after selling 10 tablets to an agent on 9/26/05 and 10 more on 10/05/05. Borron posted a $5000bond on May 18th.
• Ronnie D.Hamm, age 42, of Decaturville was charged with selling meth to an undercover agent on 10/19/05. Hamm posted the $5000 bond on May 18th.
• Harold W. Miller, age 20, address unavailable, was charged with possession of marijuana after selling to an undercover Task Force agent on 10/04/05.
All of the above charged appeared in Decatur County General Sessions court on Monday, where their trials were reset for 7-10-06.
