A Parsons teen is behind bars after authorities say he intentionally set fire to the countys fourth oldest church.
Sardis Ridge Baptist Church was completely destroyed by the Thursday evening fire. The church dates back to 1884.

Juvenile Arrested on Vandalism Charges

A 17-year-old male suspect was arrested over the weekend after authorities say he vandalized a number of properties in northern Decatur County.
At least nine reports of vandalism have so far been reported to the Sheriff’s Department, Sheriff Roy Wyatt said Monday.
